Cypress Lakes resort wins ‘Excellence Award for Best Website’

The Australian Hotels Association NSW has awarded the 2005 ‘Excellence Award for Best Website’ to Cypress Lakes Resort. The Association’s awards attracted a field of 140 finalists in 29 different categories.

The Cypress Lakes Resort Group described the achievement as a result of an “outstanding collaboration, and support” from a number of individuals. They acknowledged Enterprise Marketing for its “relentless support” in creating an e-commerce strategy that is delivering a sustainable improvement to their business.

It is evident that Cypress Lakes Resort has recognised the positive effect the Internet is having on its business. Not only has the resort been acknowledged for the “excellence” of its web site but it has also recently launched an on-line guest loyalty program. The Cypress Lakes Resort Group confirmed the resorts commitment to continuing their e-commerce strategy and explained how the resort has other exciting initiatives in development. 

The Cypress Lakes Resort Group also thanked Brett Baker and Scott Morrison at Advanced Relationship Marketing for assisting in providing an insight into their customers and the database capabilities they now possess. Rachel Donald at MyFidelio and Erin Bennett were acknowledged for their work on the web site as well.

Over the last year Cypress Lakes Resort has been recognised by a number of associations for a variety of achievements. The Australian Hotels Association NSW awarded the resort ‘Best Regional Property’. The 2004 Hunter Region Awards for Excellence in Tourism acknowledged Cypress Lakes Resort for ‘Best Luxury Accommodation’. Also the NSW Restaurant and Catering Association selected the resort’s restaurant ‘Pipette’ for the ‘Hunter Regional Award for Best Restaurant’.
